Acne control ingredients
Apart from the face; chest, neck and back are some areas which have higher concentration of sebaceous glands. Excessive oil production from these glands can cause clogged skin pores, which is a common cause of acne. Though it is a fairly common problem, all acne sufferers tend to show social withdrawal symptoms and lack of self esteem and self confidence. Teenage is the age when most people get acnes but many times it continues till the adult age. Acne should be treated at the earliest otherwise they leave a scar behind.
Most recommended Acne solutions are over-the-counter medications consisting of ingredients like benzoyl peroxide, azelaic acid, retinoid, and salicylic acid. Whether an acne product is effective or not, depends on person to person. For some people, home remedies work, but for others strong antibiotics medication also seems unsuccessful. Oral antibiotics are always taken under the supervision of doctor. An effective Acne product should have active ingredients, and they should not be irritating to the skin. Benzoyl peroxide is very effective in destroying the acne causing bacteria but results in excessive dry skin. Salicylic acid avoids clogging of skin pores. Rather than going for celebrities and advertisements featuring them, it is better for the patient to research well about the ingredients and the product
